I'm here in prague and am taking the 730am bus from FLORENC to Karlovy Vary -- how far is the KV bus station from the city center (walking)? Also, when I tried to buy metro tickets today at the Namesti Republicky station, I found out that I needed coins to do so. The ticket agent at the station wouldn't take my cash to allow me to buy tickets.
Buses. Taking a bus from Prague to Karlovy Vary is cheaper than flying. Quite often, a long-distance bus is the cheapest transportation option. Buses normally make bathroom and/or lunch stops along the way.
