Make sure Steam Cloud Sync for Fallout 4 is enabled on the $500 PC. 2. Launch your game, load a save, make a NEW save and then exit the game. This should trigger Steam to sync. (if you hover over the Steam tray icon, you will see it say "synchronizing" when it's active) 3. Wait for it to finish and then shut down the $500 PC.
Cheers! Solution. Posted May 11, 2020. Just go to C:\users\\Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Saves\. And if you set up a profile or something, then you will see folders named weird things such as "1pOarCluf" or "BotN74xCrD" and inside that will be your saves.

I then re-installed Fallout4 on Steam with all the DLC's. When i went to play the game i had a bunch of saves
Do not assume that I, nor anyone, plays the way you would play if you had the ability to save. I usually wind up saving once every hour or two in Fallout 4. See my comments on lame-swagger. "Claiming to be a survivalist" may be important to you, but may not have the same importance to someone else.

Try and find a save (like an autosave) that took place outside. Other than that, uninstalling and installing again might work. Usserymtg (Topic Creator) 7 years ago #5. I finally got it to work. It's the strangest thing. I downloading a save from one of my previous playthroughs, and it loaded just fine.
Using NMM to install a few mods, launching game, click on NEW GAME and it just loads infinitely. Experienced modding since TES3, and can tell it's not a mod issue (using NMM, 33 mods - I like to keep things vanilla with some QoL stuff). Noticed 2 things: 1. plugins.txt keeps switching to read-only, despite editing attributes (using LOOT to sort confirms this, already tried bypassing launcher
On Windows, you can find your save game files in ‘My Documents’. This is a library folder on your computer where most documents and save files are stored, you’ll specifically want to look inside the ‘My Games’ folder once inside ‘My Documents’.
