Turn the key towards the rear of the vehicle to lock it, or towards the front to unlock it. Passenger doors. Unlocking. Pull the interior door opening control. Locking. Open the doors. For the rear doors, check that the child lock is not on. Refer to the corresponding section. Remove the black cap, located on the edge of the door, using the key.
This locks then immediately re-opens all locks - and the rear door opened with it, and no problems since. The suggestion from my garage Citraulix was to use a long, sharp screwdriver to chip away the lock's white casing from the inside, then fiddle with any levers found within, so it opens. Then replace the lock with a new one, for about £50.
Usually the fix is to stand near the driver side rear tire, then press and hold both the Lock and Unlock buttons at the same time (for up to 30 seconds). If successful, you'll hear the horn honk at you. Then your FOB will work again as expected. Give it a shot, doesn't take long and its free!
2. A loose or corroded terminal in cavity A2 or A3 of the IP fuse block connector C3 (black connector) 3. A broken light blue or white wire between the BCM and the IP fuse block. 4.
