In the end, Jon Snow, a.k.a Aegon Targaryen, killed Daenerys after she slaughtered King’s Landing, with the character being exiled to the Night’s Watch in the finale. Since the Night’s Watch requires abandoning all titles and claims, the story of House Targaryen died as Jon went beyond the Wall with the wildlings.
Bran hasn’t been without his mistakes (letting the Night King brand him, his sloppy warging of Hodor). But by Season 7, Bran seemed pretty comfortable with his new identity.
